An Invitation to Help
In order to help make this Hospitality House a reality, The McLaren Foundation is calling on our extended community to help. We have launched a fundraising campaign with the goal of raising $8 million toward this project. Construction on the Hospitality House began in July 2012 with a projected opening in summer of 2013.
Even after the initial fund development drive, when the facility is built and operational there will continue to be a need for ongoing funding to help defray the operating expense and provide services to patients at the low or no cost rate that is proposed. Room fees for patients will be charged in the form of donations, based upon the patient’s ability to pay. It is expected that some patients will pay nothing.

This facility also has the potential of serving a wider patient population. While Proton Therapy patients and their families will have priority for rooms at the Hospitality House, other patients and families may utilize rooms based on availability.
We are seeking your generous support in order to make this home-away-from-home a reality for those who are seeking shelter as they battle one of life’s most intense storms.
